GISELLA - HER 2010 COLT BY DACAPRIO IS SOLD! HE IS GORGEOUS
We are so pleased with Gisella's Dacaprio foal produced in 2009 we have repeated the breeding in 2010! Here she is with her elegant colt by Dacaprio for 2010. He has been sold!
(Guarantor x Werther's Brigitta/Werther/Akzent II) Breeder: Barbara Schmidt, DVM, Bridlewood Farm, Union, KY. Gisella was sold to adult amatuer riders Joel and Maibeth Esselman of Milan, IN to be raised as a dresage prospect. We are pleased to announce that we have been able to purchase Gisella to join our brood mare band and follow in her mother's footsteps as an important part of our breeding program. We are very thankful to the Esselmans for this opportunity and we look forward to having both Guarantor's and Werther's Brigitta's distinguished bloodlines in our breeding program. Her first foal by Dacaprio is doubly exciting since her own sire is one of our stallion.

DIAMONTE 2010 COLT BY DACAPRIO OUT OF GISELLA! - SOLD!

This strikingly handsome and incredibly elegant colt was born April 14, 2010. He has been purchased by dressage rider Pamela Miller, Newport Beach, CA. She also purchased the Fabuleux X SPS Mon Amour (Matcho) dark bay filly born March 19, 2010! We will be anxious to see these youngsters as they develop and begin their dressage careers.

2009 FILLY BY DACAPRIO - SOLD!
This stunning chestnut filly is our first foal by Dacaprio born at Bridlewood Farm. Gisella is a new addition to our select band of broodmares and we could not be more pleased with her first foal! This filly has been sold to German dressage competitor/trainer, Silke Parry of Fountain Inn, SC. Silke also purchased our outstanding 2009 Fabuleux filly out of SPS Donna de Nira!

Werther's Brigitta - Dam of Gisella
Werther's Brigitta was a highly successful broodmare with her previous owner, Holsteiner breeder Karen Reid, Fox Fire Farm, Fox Island, WA. While at Fox Fire Farm, Brigitta was inspected with the American Holstein Horse Association and the ISR/Oldenburg N.A. and was chosen as a Premium Mare in both of their Studbooks.
She received Reserve Champion Honors at the AHHA inspection and was also the Reserve Champion Mare at the American Hanoverian Association inspection held at Bridlewood Farm. She was inspected as an 11 year old and received the overall score of 7.2. This made her eligible for Elite Mare Candidate status with the AHS. At her AHS Inspection she received the excellent score of 8 for Impusion/Elasticity (Trot), in addition to the outstanding score of 9 for her feminine head and expression.
Werther's Brigitta consistently produces beautifully correct, athletic foals that are known for their kind, willing temperament and generous character.
Brigitta's sire Werther was awarded the first Hanoverian Stallion of the Year Award in Germany due to his top FN rank for siring dressage, materiale, jumping and driving horses. He held this very high ranking for nearly a decade, earning the title of "Versatile Werther." His broodmares and their daughters are sought throughout Europe and the U.S.

GUARANTOR - SIRE OF GISELLA
Guarantor is one of Bridlewood Farm's most popular stallions and is highly praised for producing offspring who excel at the highest levels of dressage.
Guarantor has the legendary bloodline of Grande whose offspring have for decades dominated the international performance scene in both dressage and jumping . His sire, Celle stallion, Grossfuerst was champion of his 100-day testing. Guarantor also carries the famous blood of Absatz through the outstanding dressage sire Aktuell and the dressage lines of Cardinal xx and Diplomat.
Guarantor was 4th in his 100 day testing out of 128. He was Champion Stallion and Res. Grand Champion at Dressage at Devon and was USDF Horse of the Year at 2nd and 3rd Levels. He successfully competed in Prix St. Georges on the CA dressage circuit.
